How to make a Clickable link in a Comment

For Swedish: Gör en fungerande länk i kommentar

First of all I'd like to remind you that links in comments are no-follow links. This means it's a waste of time to write comments with links to get a better SEO.

I've seen these clickable links and I've been wondering how to make them, as sometimes I like to refer to a post, or something else, linked to (!) the post I'm commenting.

There are many people who don't know how to copy and paste an URL and many more who don't bother, so my wish was to help them on the way...!

To make a link working in a comment you need to use HTML and here's the code:
<a href="URLofYourChoice">Your clickable visible text</a>

For example a link to this post in a comment would have to look like this:
<a href="http://evainathens.blogspot.gr/2013/05/how-to-clickable-link-comment.html">How to make a clickable link in a comment</a>

You're welcome to try for yourself, with a link to your blog in the comment field here.

Good Luck!

Holy Saturday and Resurrection at Profiti Ilia, Ilioupolis

Yesterday we went to the little church Profiti Ilia, on mountain Ymittos in Ilioupolis, to celebrate Christ's resurrection.

It's a beautiful place!

Such a view over Athens. I really recommend this place for Megali Savvato, but also for a visit any other day or evening.

 Christos Anesti!

People heading home with their holy flames to bless their homes...

...and to eat the Mageritsa soup combined with bread, mizithra/anthótiro, red eggs and more! The hunger is huge after 40 days of fasting...!
Actually many people are still fasting 40 days, but more common is to fast the Easter week and I would guess 95 % on Good Friday.

My small tzoureki breads! Not so beautiful maybe but quite tasty! Tzoureki is a sweet bread eaten all the year around, but especially at Easter.

Greek festival at Disneyland! Opa!

A celebration of Greece is coming up at the Disney parks in California: Disneyland and Disney California Adventure!

The 25-27th of May there will be lots of Greek music & dance, Greek food & wine and more. Mickey Mouse and his friends will be dressed in Greek folklore, traditional style.
Really great advertising for Greece!

Great idea by Disneyland!

Όπα! Opa!

Princess Fatima "ate pudding" in Greece...

The emir of Quatar, Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, has bought 6 islands in Greece! He has 24 children and is planning to buy a Greek island for each one of them...

Last summer one of the emirs daughters, Fatima, fell in love with (or so I've heard)a Greek God (:)) - Giannis Kechagias, a model and singer.

Fatima invited him to their palace in Quatar, but Giannis didn't go! Fatima έφαγε χυλόπιτα (Fatima ate pudding)...! (This is a Greek expression used when love is not reciprocated...)

Anyway...Fatima is a beautiful young lady and of course Giannis appreciated her, but his main concern was (or, again, so I've heard)that he doesn't want to leave Greece!

But who knows what will happen now when Fatima soon has her own Greek island...?!

If you like to snap any of the Greek islands for sale, before the emir of Quatar buys them, you can start with having a look here: Greek islands for sale.
(Tokmakia island is fine for me, and it's only 4 million euros...!)

Καλή εβδομάδα!

Like?

This one was not so scary in the reality though. It's a mosquito net, so it wasn't that big. For the biggest spider I've ever seen, check here: HUGE, scary spider!

Beautiful park with mosaics in Voula

Read this post in Swedish: Plateia Georgiou Doka - liten park med mosaik i Voula

The same day we went for the wonderful walk at the cape of Glyfada and Voula we also visited this small park with lots of colourful mosaics in Voula (Attica).

This park is called "Πλατεία Γεωργίου Δογκα" ("Plateia Georgiou Dogka") - Georgos Dogka Square.

George Dogka was the President of the Community Council in Voula 1934-36 and he was a supporter of high standard city planning with lots of parks, plants and trees.

The beautiful decorations of mosaics was made like a gift from Dogkas descendants 2010, in memory of their forefather.

Still cold...   Just above zero this day, the 8th of January.

 Turtle park decoration!

And here it just started to rain...

The Plateia Georgiou Dogka is situated inbetween the roads Poseidonos (Leoforos Konstantinou Karamanli), Zefirou, Nireos and Dafnis - see map to the left.

Two more pictures from the park in my photo blog Greece in my Heart: Catwalk (on fish)
